Image of the Week ~ 20

First Dance

This Weeks image is from Adam & Sheena’s May wedding in Wigan, U.K. This was the first dance and is a very important moment for all couples who take part in this tradition. Adam’s Fathers band played live at the reception, playing for his son was ‘an honour’ he told me. So in this case, it was a very important and nervous moment for the Father of the Groom. That is why I photographed and chose this image, taken from within the band’s performance area. It was the view of the grooms Father and band and I love the way all the guests are romantically looking on, reminiscing or fantasying about their own wedding story.

Image of the Week ~ 15

Hi Followers.  For this Weeks Image I have chosen to show you The Wedding Storybook I created for the Italian Wedding I photographed in July.  For me creating the Book is such a pleasure and I really enjoy this stage of the Wedding Package.   I have now created this year 3 different Wedding Storybooks – A specific style of wedding album which tells the story of your wedding through images and text.  This differs to a Wedding Album as it generally contains more pages and photographs, text is added of special speeches or and songs played and the images are not to be looked at individually as in a Photo Album but the relationship between the photographs can be read like a written language with documentation of what really happened on your Big Day!  While I create each book in the same consistent style, the Wedding Storybook is as unique to each couple as their Wedding Day is as individual as they are.  In essence each Wedding Storybook tells a similar story but in very different ways.
